I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Robert. I worked with Robert at Burch Corp for a short time. He was truly a dedicated person.May God hold his family cloase and send angels to comfort them.

There are some people that you meet that really leave an impression and you know you are a better person because they were a part of your life...I believe that Robert had that effect on many and I know he did on me. I pray that God is providing Robert's family with peace and comfort at this difficult time.

I guess I held out signing this book because doing so somehow seems to make Robert's passing from this life more of a void than it already is without him. We kept in contact via emails, primarily, over the past year; and he was so very proud of his chilren and his work at the Ranch. There are those who grab life with such dedication to make it a better place than when they entered, and Robert certainly fell into that category. I have often wondered how I was so blessed to have been born into...

I just learned of Robert's untimely passing today. My deepest sympathies to Wanda and his children as well as to his brother Edwin. Robert was one of my pledge brothers at Alabama Delta Chi. I know he will be missed and I regret that our paths did not cross more often in the years that have passed.
