My deepest and sincere condolences to the Furlong family for loss of a man bigger than life. Mary talked about her dad often, but what comes to my mind about Mary´s dad is that he was quite a joker. Mary told me about the calendars he had printed up one year to give away to his clients. The message on the calendar said something like "You can´t go on without insurance Fur-long". Mr. Furlong was one of a kind. We lived down the street from the Furlong family in Bedford Heights. My brother Ray and I do remember him being OUR Santa. He was THE BEST Santa. When I had my kids, Mr. Furlong pulled his suit out of retirement and paid a visit, as the BEST Santa ever once again. He will be missed, we have many great years and memories to share with each other.

Condolences and blessings to all of you. Your Dad surprised me a year ago by calling to wish me a Happy Birthday. He explained that he would review your Mom's date book and call those he knew were still around. What a thoughtful gesture.
