Not sure what to say?

Dear Pat,
we were very saddened to receive your letter informing us of Bob's death but we recalled your Christmas card saying that Bob was both blind and deaf.,so in a way it must have been a blessed release.
Both of us,young Rick as well, remember fondly our visits to Rita and Glo.
We remember Bob's kindness in inviting us out to dinner ,his company, his interesting stories of his past, his war years, his driving those huge trucks across America and the pride in his family....

Mournnig to dancing

Dearest Pat and family our deepest condolances to you all. May God grant you courage and strength in your time of sorrow. Hearing of Bob's passing on Easter brought a mix of emotions. I have known your family all my life, and being Bab and daddy were best friends, it was like losing dad all over again...and yet, I knnow Bob has marched in this life for a long time and was surely ready to go home to the Lord. What a comforting thought that he entered into eternal rest on the day which...

Dear Pat and Family,

I have been remembering how Bob always went out of his way to greet me with a warm welcome when I came over to the house.
It has been an Honor to know a truly great hero to our country. And it has also been an honor to be a friend of the Gaddis family.
We will pray for you as you walk through this difficult time.

Our family was saddened to hear of Bobs passing. Bob was my father Virgils cousin, they were born within a few months of each other in 1920, and they both lived long and productive lifes. Godspeed Bob and say hello to my dad. for me

Dear Pat and family,
So sorry we could not be with you today. We will always hold a place in our hearts for Bob Sr. He was a wonderful man who we admired and greatly respected. We share many warm memories of times our families have spent together.
With affection,
Tom and Sally Gaddis

to the Gaddis
family: I taught at Chief Joseph School in Portland and had several of the Gaddis children in the primary grades. Mrs. Gaddis and I were good friends and she shared the wonderful antiques in her home--the Shirley Temple dolls , doll houses. The children were all so nice and I enjoyed our conferences. The last time I saw mrs. Gaddis was at the Univ. of Portland Gilbert and Sullivan operetta. I am sending my best wishes to the whole family.

Wishing you peace, courage and loving memories.
