Not sure what to say?

Bobby, as I knew you,and family, I am so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He and Frances were both a big part of my life. He did share his "donuts and Coke-um" with me as a little girl. Good memories!
Sincerely,

When Bob was was in the State Legistature, I would stop by and watch him control the procedure. All the other politicians would come to him for the proper way to get a bill passed. Francis was always sitting on the front row, usually in a bright dress to complement her beautiful red hair. Then he would take us to lunch in the State lunch room.

As a child , I observed how Bob looked at Frances. Even then, I realized that he deeply loved and adored her.

My son, Stan, remembers attending his campaign rallies at Roebuck Shopping Center, helping pass out brochures, and wearing the straw hats with red, white, and blue bands. Gerald , Stan, Deitra, and I were proud to brag that our cousin was lobbyist for the state of Alabama.

My parents admired Bob. When mother and I visited Frances, Bob disappeared into another room. ...

gg always said I was his main man and he was always my main man. I will miss him calling me

GG we will miss your daily phone calls, our rendezvous at casinos, your corny jokes, larger than life stories (bullfrog gigs, fishing stories and all) and your hugs. We love you! Tracie, Ed, Scott, Nicole & Emily Owens

I'm sorry for your loss at his passing. May you find comfort in your memories, and peace in your hearts.

(fyi - I'm a friend of Tracie Owens)

Tracie, Ed and family,
GG was special to so many. Know that he is at peace, and still watching over all of you.

Uncle Bob came to Minnesota when both my parents, William (Bill Joe)& Catherine Gafford, passed away. His understanding and compassion were comforting. I enjoyed the time I got to visit with him and know he will be dearly missed.

Bob, Tracie, Ed and family. GG left a legacy that will be carried on because of the relationship he had with all of you. Remember him fondly for he is in a beautiful peaceful place. Scripture tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and in another passage, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, … there shall be no more pain, for the former world has passed away.” May the Lord grant you peace at this difficult time. Love, Bob, Judy, Ginger & Tim.
