Although I never had the honor of meeting Gen. Galer, I am forever indebted to him as well as all MOH recipients. He was truly the bravest of the brave.
May God Bless his family and America.

We met Gen Galer at the Courage Under Fire premier in Dallas in the early 1990's and saw him several more times at events. He was a lovely man. Though we last saw him in 98 when he was in rehab just before we moved to Va., we have thought of him so much through the yrs. Steve was a Marine in the 1970's in the same squadron that Gen Galor was in during WW2. Our thoughts and prayers go with you during this time. What a wonderful treasure of a man you have shared with the world!
