My condolences to the Gallegos family. My siblings and I remember Bobby as a very kind man. As elementary students, we used to stop by Bobby´s Market on the way home from school every day. With one quarter we would load up with candy. We felt so rich with that quarter!! The Big Hunk and Chicken Stick were my personal favorites. (Honestly, we now think we bought more than 25 cents worth.) That´s the kind of guy Bobby was; always greeting us with a welcoming smile. Just a kid who knew...

Our hearts go out to all the Robert Gallegos Family and to everyone who loved and respected him. This is such a huge loss for all of us who knew him and for his beloved Brawley. He was such an incredible dad, dedicated community member, warm and kind human being and dear friend, and he will be missed by so many.
