Not sure what to say?

Robert Galvin spent some of his childhood summer at a rented cottage at Lake Lawn Lodge. My mother rented a cottage near the Galvin´s. My and her sister became life long friends. They formed a club with other summer kids at the Lodge that they called "The Black Hat Club. They had many adventures roaming the less manicured grounds of the lodge. We have fond memories of Mr. Galvin´s kindness to our mother in her declining years. Mr. Galvin was a true friend to my mother for over 50 years. Much...

Gentlemen.. One of the kind... Leader who really cared about his people He will be remembered by thousands for his kindness and leader ship ..Thank you Mr Galvin Rest in peace We will always remember you

I worked at Motorola Communications in Florida from 1973 to 1988. It's by far the best place I ever worked. Bob promoted the idea of a Motorola Family and it really was. It's like catching Time in a bottle. His family has to be proud of this man, I know I am.

I'm a motorola fan and I write from Italy. I have come very close to the history of Galvin and reading these posts I understand that beautiful family was.
Bob had to be a great person.
Someone who knew him closely can help me with some information close to bob and motorola? Thanks from Italy

Bob was an exceptional man, and I am honored to have known him. I will always treasure his friendship, leadership, and guidance. He was an outstanding role model to so many around the world, inside Motorola and out. I truly believe I'm a better person for having known him, and I'll forever be grateful. My deepest condolences to the Galvins for your loss. God bless.

I was fortunate to be in the Motorola Law Department between 1970 and 1998. Bob Galvin symbolized Motorola for me. He was intelligent, humble, forward looking, caring of his employees and most of all, highly ethical.

America could use more Bob Galvins today.

I had the good fortune to be employed at Motorola from 1979 to 1998. I often saw Bob Galvin in the cafeteria of the Schaumburg Corporate Building. His warmth and friendly demeaner was always present to employees no matter what their job was. He was very special. I send my sincere condolences to the Galvin Family and Friends.

Bob encompassed the attributes of the global leader. He resonated with each of us for possibly different reasons and we all benefited by his presence and guidance.

I started my career at Motorola at the Franklin Park campus in the early 1970's. Mr. Galvin would come to our building, the back building, just to walk around and to say hello to his employees. There was never any pomp and circumstance. He would stop you in the hall and say Hi, and ask you how you were doing and if everything was ok. He was an amazing human being who always showed respect and true compassion for all of his employees. Everyone was always treated as part of a big family. I...
