Not sure what to say?

Senator Gannett Provided me with guidance and council, while I was a member of the Vt. House and then as Commissioner of Building & General Services. He didn't mind that I am a Democrat! Vermont is a much better place for us all because of his and Mrs. Gannetts legacies they left us. Our condolences to the Gannett family. John Zampieri &. Family

Offering our deepest condolences during this time.

Senator Gannett and Mrs. Gannett were my true role models, they did so very much for me growing up and I was lucky enough to learn so very much from them. I will cherish all the wonderful memories !

I will always remember Bob as a gentle man. He always had words of wisdom that he shared. He will be missed.

Uncle Bob and Aunt Aldie were my favorite "old" relatives when we sat around Grandmother's giant table for Sunday Lunch. They were actually curious about what we children were interested in. Their lives were emblems of discovery and commitment. Their personal and public legacies will endure.

Bob, your guidance and counsel will be sorely missed.

Sen. Gannett was one of the first to greet my family to Windham County when we move to Putney in 1969. Later he was our lawyer for many years and introduced me to the Senate when Dick Snelling appointed me Secretary of Development and Community Affairs. In town, Rotary, the hospital or other special projects always had the helping hand of Bob.

May you and Aldie play many rounds on green fairways.

Senator Gannett was a true Vermont leader and a Vermont visonary. He started his legislative career during my grandfather's time in Montpelier. I had the pleasure of knowing Senator Gannett during my time working for the Vt. legislature and also during my tenure as Vt. Ag Cmr and Vt. Energy Director. Senator Gannett's leadership inspired many and we held him in the highest esteem. My condolences to his family.
