Not sure what to say?

I was thinking if Bob just the other day and how we were alike in many ways, working out science problems silently, toward a solution for drug development that largely goes in noticed. But Bob was just special, he made those around him happier with his positive attitude and caring smile. None like him in my many years experience. He is missed.

Bob and I spent our youth together in McMinnville, Oregon. We attended the same high school, went to the same church, and sang in the choir together. He is remembered for his musical talent and kindness. This past weekend was our fiftieth high school class reunion. Bob was missed.

I sent supplies to him. He was a good man.

Sorry to learn about the passing of Bob at such a young age. My lab was next to his for a few years in the downtown research complex. We were good friends. Bob was always upbeat, quick with a joke and somebody you just wanted to spend a little time with in the hallways or on projects.

Bob's office and mine were just a few spaces apart in Bldg. 300 for several years. Every day, I looked forward to passing by Bob's office (or he'd stop by mine), and we'd share a story about family, events, or baseball. Bob always talked about his family, visiting his favorite bike shop or a new restaurant. He was one of the smartest and funniest people I've ever met, and the world is better for his being here. Best regards to his family and close friends.

It was always a fun time playing Golf with Bob. He was a great person to be with. Bob & his family will be in my prayers.

The loss of Bob at his young age is very sad and I share in your sorrow. We met so many years ago when you moved to Kalamazoo/Upjohn. My first remembrance is the "kindness" in Bob's eyes. My husband, Tom, talked of Bob's great intellect, work ethic and compatibility with all people. The loss of a "good man" like Bob is great. You are wished peace in the coming days as your family shares the memory of a life well lived.
With fond caring, Susan Pyke

I worked with Bob in Kalamazoo several years ago- what a wonderful person, someone you don't forget meeting and working with. So intelligent, funny, and warm. My deepest sympathies.

Deepest sympathy for this loss to the family. The strength from God can sustain you now and in the days ahead. May you find a measure of comfort in the loving support of each other and friends and in the memories you share.
