ROBERT GARNETT

Mr. Garnett was a favorite teacher of mine at Harding Junior High School. He will be missed.

I have many fond memories of "Bobby" while I was growing up and being his next door neighbor on Old Oxford Road. He was always very helpful to my parents and had a wonderful sense of humor. I am so glad I was able to pay him and Carolyn a visit in the afternoon on October 22nd of this year. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we wanted you to know we're thinking of you. Bob certainly had an impressive life filled with accomplishments and was such a great guy. He was a friend to my brother, Richard Shively, (deceased). Carolyn, my mother, Martha Shively, (deceased) loved you so much so we are sending sympathy on behalf of the Shively family. I worked for Bob bailing hay in high school. He bailed the 800 acre of Voice of America, Great man, and his wife always fed us well.
