Not sure what to say?

He was so kind and gentle to my family at a very difficult time in my familys lives. He truly is a disciple of Christ.

I really appreciate Rev. Gartman's love For Christ and for the lost souls. I was one of those lost souls he led to Christ in 1964 in my family's living room. He and the church took me in their fold and I was baptized on Mother's Day. Even when I attended college the church reminded me of their love and prayers by sending me a tin of cookies. I look forward to seeing him in heaven.

We have known Bob since our days at Phillips University, although we was a little ahead of us.
He has been a fine long-time minister and a good friend. He was blessed with a wonderful wife, Patty, and they both were blessed with wonderful children.
We will miss our retreats and times together.
Patty, we are here for you at any time.
May God Bless and Keep you always.
With our Love and Prayers.

Patty, so sorry for your loss. So many wonderful memories in Chapel Downs at our neighborhood gatherings. You are in my prayers. Diane

Bob was our minister at Memorial Christian Church in Midland, Texas. He was especially interested in my wife, Glenda's experience living in the Juliette Fowler Home as a young girl. Bob was on the home's board at the time. He and Patty were wonderful and sensitive ministers to us as a young and new couple in the Christian Church. (I was an ex-Baptist,and concerned about the process of joining a different denomination.)
Years passed and we needed help in burying Glenda with her mother in...

Patty, Rachel, and Paul, you and yours are in my prayer today. Bob was a big part of me going into ministry.

Bob brought so many comfort, love and a closer relationship to God. Without a doubt a life well lived. My sincerest condolences,
Scott Dicken

Dear Patty and family,
We were fortunate to visit with Bob on the phone a few weeks ago. Our hearts go out to you as you adjust to your loss. Bob always had a wonderful smile as he greeted us when visiting us at Central Christian Church in Dallas. He was a fine man whom we speak of with admiration and love for what he represented in our faith.
Blessings to each of you,
Carol and Jim Archer
