I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We met as undergraduates at Boston College. He and I went on for a fifth year at BC and earned our master's degrees in Urban Education in 1969. That year we commuted together on a regular basis. I got to meet his family and friends and Diane. He married Diane on July 1, 1969. I was drafted and inducted into the US Army later that month. We reconnected upon my return to civilian life two years later. He was a family man and I was a veteran....
