Dear Geary family, I was so sorry to hear from my mother of Bob´s death. He was always kind to me. I have happy memories of you all, of cookouts and long evenings playing outside, and of the heads of our respective clans , both lawyers, both wits, and both Irish, disputing anything and everything. God rest his soul and console the bereaved. Kathleen Doran Blum

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss ; I met Bob when we were both young defense attorneys in the early seventies ; although it has been more than 50 years ; I remember to this day the sound advise and help he gave me the morning of a capitol offense case I was going to defend . May his memory be a Blessing

I am heartbroken to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful lawyer but more than anything he was a terrific father and grandfather. He was always present at the kids' games and activities(and there were a lot of kids). He was a bit cantankerous at times but he had a heart of gold and it was a privilege to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

I’m sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. As a lawyer practicing for a long time, I can honestly say that Bob was the kind of lawyer and person that was a real asset to the profession. He was a good friend and was always ready and willing to be helpful. He will be missed by many.
