As a fellow Creston 65 graduate I grew up in the same neighborhood and he was a friend since grade school. Remember getting penny candy at his dad's store on the way to Briggs pool. In later years getting kits for gas powered model airplanes at same store. We were also fellow Boy Scouts. After moving back into area after retiring it was great to see him at our monthly mini reunions and also corresponding daily on Bob's FB website " If you grew up in Grand Rapids ". Bob was great neighbor. He will be missed. Enjoyed talking to him, very friendly.

Thank you, Bob, for bringing 23,000 of us together to talk about Grand Rapids history. I have learned SO much from the members. I'm forever grateful.
