Words For The Family,

Although Bob is no longer with us here, he will never be far away. Of all the memories I have of him, the one that stands out is that he was a strong and a powerful person in all ways. His word was never broken. He never wavered in his beliefs. I have no doubt that he will continue to protect the family that he loved so very much.

After graduating from High School I only saw him at the Class Reunions. He always greeted me by name and the...

To the Gero Family,
We, the members of the class of MHS '65, are also a large extended family. The loss of one of us is a loss to us all. Although the years have not often brought Bobby and me together, I remember him fondly. Please accept my sincere sympathy in this difficult time.

For the entire Gero family, I send my warmest thoughts in the memories of one of such a special family. I well remember Bobby from high school days and savor the Gero "flavor" when sharing college days with Tony and now, in the audiences of Ed as he enjoys his stellar acting career. When I last saw Ed he shared Bobby's story so from then on, he has been in my prayers. I am content that he is truly at peace...though missed in this life. Sue Schroeder Livera (Bowie, Maryland)

Joe, Kevin and Family
We are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. We moved away from Madison years ago but we would see your dad when we returned for a visit. We always enjoyed talking with him.
We pray that God will give you the faith and courage to get through this very difficult time.

Dear Joe and Kevin, I am sorry to hear that your Father passed away. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. I wish you both comfort and peace in this most difficult and trying situation. While I regret that we were unable to attend the services for your Father, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

To the Family,
My wife and I send our most heartfelt condolences to you at this time of loss.
There are such lasting memories I have of Bobby, as it must be with so many others. On those occasions when I returned to Madison and saw him, he greeted me with such a wonderful smile and we spoke about things important and not so important as if it had been only yesterday when we had seen one another, as if it had been only yesterday when we had last spoken to one another, and as if it...

Dear Joe and Kevin, I was very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I've known him since the 7th grade...we were never close back then...it wasn't until the past 10 to 20 years that we got to know each other...perhaps the best example was during the reunion planning committee meetings that Lonny Andrews headed up, Bobby and I had opportunities to share stories and talk. Particularly after my book Desperate Highway was published...he and I seemed to have found something that we could share...

Joe and Kevin;
I was so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.
Looking back it would be hard to find a more loyal friend (and cohort) than Bobby was to me, both in sports and socially.
My sympathy goes out to you both and your families.
Sincerely,

Joe & Kevin,

So sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a good friend for a lot of years. I was very fortunate to have known him and your mother. As requested, instead of flowers, I will be sending a donation in his name.
