Not sure what to say?

I still can not believe he is gone. His presence is with me each day as he challenges me to love my neighbor and help others succeed in life. He is missed, but his influence is not gone. He is much of the reason I succeeded in my own life. Hugs to all who knew him and benefited from his existence. :-)

I very much miss this old HS friend and beautiful person. He was a life-long friend. Life is not the same without him, but I do my best each day to make him proud - and keep him smiling.

I was so sad to discover Bob's passing. I was reminiscing about my childhood with a friend and decided to look him up. Bob was my parent's realtor when we moved to Spokane. But, he was so much more than that. He was my dad's first friend in Spokane. Someone my dad really looked up to and connected with. I have wonderful memories of Karate and family BBQ's and events. One of the best people I've ever had the honor of knowing.

Bob was a good friend from the first day of high school until his death. He made life easier and more fun. His laugh was contagious. He was an encourager, not a complainer.

Dear Robert Gilles Family, Robert and I were friends for fifty-two years, dating back to Gonzaga in 1969. Before that we both attended Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma, but he was three years behind me. We still ended up graduating together from Gonzaga after completing the ed block. We lived together for awhile in the laundry room of St. Joseph's Orphanage, worked day jobs during the record winter of '68-'69, ate ninety-nine cent breakfasts at the Dairy Freeze across from Jack & Dan's, got...

I always enjoyed Robert as we worked together in various real estate events. He was always smiling. Such a good person. Rest In Peace Robert.

Robert (Bob) Gilles is and was a rare treasure of a person with a kind heart and a listening ear and always words of advice in difficult and troubled times. I will always remember and treasure his time with our family here in Panama City, Panama. Bob was the Chrisopher Colombus (original) Explorer at heart

I would add he was a practicing Buddhist. I enjoyed seeing him and he was just a great man!
