He was one of my favorite patrons to swim at the PEIF Pool here on the campus at NMU. Every day he came in with a smile, with his goggles and headband on ready to jump in, and never forgot to greet me with the sweetest/most upbeat "Hello Kate". You could feel his kindness through each encounter, a truly great man. Rest in peace Dr. Glenn.

I'm very sad to hear of Dr. Glenn's passing. As a student of his and then a Teaching Assistant in the English Department at NMU, I enjoyed getting to know him and appreciated how he was always so supportive of the students and graduate students. He always took the time to talk to us and encourage us and joke with us. I particularly remember one April Fool's Day joke in 1994 that he played a key role in. He was a wonderful and enthusiastic instructor and human being and will be much missed.

It is never easy to lose a loved one. I pray you find comfort in God's promise found at John 6:40 which says that soon we will see our love ones again.
