Not sure what to say?

Bob Globerman was, along with T. Rae Stern, an advisor to the Ossining High School Class of '59. In addition he was an outstanding art teacher and a friend to many of us. I know that he is sorely missed by everyone who called him "Friend"!

Mr. Globerman was truly unique in his ability to inspire and to bring out the best in his students. In my life, he is unforgettable as he set the standard that I and so many others strove to achieve. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Globerman's father owned the hotel at the train station where my grandfather was a taxi driver. He knew my Dad and took extra good care of me during riots, walking me to my next class. His cartoon Christmas cards inspired me to cartoon. I have been published now and inspired to write and illustrate more books. He was the sweetest man I had ever met and will continue to thank him for inspiration with each cartoon I draw. Thank you Mr. Globerman.

To Regina and children, my sincerest condolences. He was a wonderful man. Happy to have been his leading lady in ANNIE Get Your Gun. Love to all. Lucille Naughton

My twin Rose Grahame and I were students of Bob at Marymount College (class of 1990) and he touched our lives in a long lasting way. He was wonderful and when he moved to Arizona and then to Indiana we exchanged cards around the holidays for twenty years. We would send him postcards from museums we visited. With each post card he would respond with a long letter. We're so thrilled that he cared to take the time respond to a post card. He always addressed us as Twinies.

Bob Globerman was an inspirational teacher who had a wonderful impact on so many students at Ossining High School. He was a talented teacher as well as a talented artist. He had a great impact on his students as well as the entire school when he performed in many student/faculty musical shows playing the lead in shows like 'The Music Man". Bob had a tremendous impact on the entire school during his many years of teaching. I extend my deepest condolences to Regina and his family and thank...

As I read through these lovely tributes to Bob's long, rich life, memories from my childhood come back. I grew up with his daughter and spent many happy days and nights in the gracious home of Regina and Bob. He was a warm, kind, funny, creative man who has touched the lives of so many people. My thoughts are with you today as you remember him and celebrate his life.

Baruch Dayan ha Emet... to the family of. "Mr. Globerman,", May you be comforted. Mr. Globerman was not only my favorite teacher at Ossining High School, and also the drama coach, but a foundational figure of my childhood, a miraculous gift that came into my life for goodness, for blessing, without whom my life may have taken a different turn. I have been thinking for several days now about what I wanted to write. A word that has loomed large is 'meticulous.' Not just meticulous in his...
