Not sure what to say?

If I have the right person, he was my high school history teacher in Naples, FL on 1970-71. An outstanding teacher who made a a shy country boy from Alabama feel like he was more than a dumb redneck.

May 15, 2024 Late condolences. Eugene E. Gluhareff. San Diego, California.

To whom it may concern,

Bob showed me love and leadership when no one else was willing to or wanted to. He was the first person to tell me I had potential and was deserving of love and confidence. He taught me things that cant be learned in school. He gave me confidence with his support that I draw upon today. He gave me opportunities that only a guardian with great expectations could offer. Bob was not only a sword wielding Cossack from St Petersburg.... Bob was a force that...

Dear Sharon, Jon and David,

As others have expressed so well in this guest book, I also remember Bob as a man of humor, goodwill, and devotion to helping young people. Even as a young man, full of energy and enthusiasm, his dreams were to marry a Godly woman, raise a family, and to serve his Lord in a big way through ministry and counseling. He did, in fact, achieve those dreams.

And, that is what I will remember most about Bob. He dreamed well, loved well, and pursued a...

Dear Sharon, my son Scott just fowarded the news of Bobs death to me and I'm so sorry and want you to know that our hearts go out to you and your boy. If you get a chance I'd love to hear from you through e-mail [email protected] love Bob Moss

To my dear grieving family -
My original note here was not posted, I think because I included an excerpt from a poem. That poem encourages us to not despair that Bob is no more, but to be thankful that he was. We are so thankful that you were, Uncle Bob, and will keep you in our hearts.
Your loving niece,
Amanda

I knew a dynamic, funny Uncle Bob, a charismatic leader who devoted his whole life to the ministry, counseling and helping people mend broken souls. Years ago, he let me tag along when he was youth minister at the Methodist church in Naples, Fla. He let me, his shy skinny 12-year-old niece, come to the Friday Nite Movies/ Bible Studay and hang around actual Teenagers! It was so cool, Uncle Bob! When you led the Bible Study, everyone hung on your words. When you prayed with everyone I circle,...

Bob Gluhareff was one of my favorite teachers at Sanderson (late 70's). My memory of him is walking into his classroom and hearing "Echoes of Love" from the Doobie Brothers' album, "Livin'on the Fault Line" playing on a turntable on top of his file cabinet. Also, I remember that he always greeted us with a smile. RIP, Bob.

Bob was an amazing man. He was the type of person that when he walked into a room it became light with joy and laughter. I was a student at his school for two years, thats two years of my life Ill never forget. Thats two yrs. of my life where I was actually happy, I felt at home, and at peace, I felt god was there. With out bob and the creation of that school and his ideals and dreams, I would be lost. Bob was an awsome man. This man changed lives through his love of god and his compassion to...
