GOLDSMITH ROBERT H. "GOLDIE" of Lake Angelus, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Loving husband of Janet Varner Goldsmith. Dear father of Jill Cory Goldsmith and Janice Callahan. Proud and loving grandfather of Jared Nylund. Brother of Donald (Joanne) Goldsmith. Brother-in-law of Jay (Jody) Ferry, Jeff (Emily) Ferry, James (Debra) Ferry, Jennifer (Mike) Fogler and John (Joanna) Ferry. Also surviving him are his many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He enjoyed his career at George P. Johnson, retiring as Senior Vice-President of Client Services. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, June 28, 2013, at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester from 3:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. time of a Spiritual Service. His family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations in Robert's name be directed to Dr. Janet LoRusso's Phase I Clinical Trials Program 026020 at the Karmanos Cancer Institute and envelopes will be available at the funeral home. www.pixleyfh.com
