Not sure what to say?

My uncle Bob touched the lives of so many people in his life, with so many great memories along the way. I loved jawing and arguing with him when I was a teen, but now I finally get it. He was right about so many things. Bob was one of the pillars holding this family together through good times and bad. May God bless Bob, and give us the strength to keep our family and country safe and strong, as Bob has done all these years.

It's been several years since I have seen uncle Bob but I have thought of him often these past few weeks. early this month Jan and I were traveling, and in Charleston SC. we toured the USS Yorktown, in Charleston harbour. I found a painting in one of the exhibits of the USS Bismark Sea. I recognized the name as the ship uncle Bob was on during the war. I learned then that his ship was the last US aircraft carrier sunk in the war. It went down the eveneng of Feb. 21, 1945 after a kamikaze...

Mary, my sincere sympathy. May loving memories bring you comfort in the days ahead. My prayers are with you and your family.

I will always remember my "Uncle Bob" fondly. His hearty laugh and warm heart. As I read other entries I see that he was everyone's roadside savior. He was mine also on a few occasions. I remember Uncle Bob dropping everything on zero notice and helping me pack a 1972 Pinto into the back of a UHaul truck along with the rest of my meager possessions in order to move myself and my new bride to VA. 32 years ago. Thanks again Bob.

Whenever somebody mentions the term "greatest generation"...

To the Grabow Family and Friends.
Such nice people, went to Westbrook, with Bill. Went to your
station many times over the years.
My uncles were friends with your family going back to WWII. I remb one time home on leave when I was in the Navy he helped me with my car. And would not take any money.
A greatfull nation says thank you for his service. Gods Speed.
