Not sure what to say?

My brother Bob and I would like to thank those who have sent their comments and those who attended the service for Dad last Monday evening. We were touched by the variety of people from his life who are remembering him. He was a remarkable person and we all felt lucky to have him with us for so long.

Galen,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Your father had an interesting and long life, touching many people along the way. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Kathy

My dad is Douglas Hayes, so that makes me a second cousin or some such, but I grew up hearing the name of Bob Graham and what a great zest for life he had and how much he liked to dance and how he was doing it up in his ninties, which we all thought was so great. It sounds like he lived a long and enjoyed life--and I'm glad those genes are in me!

It has been a wonderful experience for me to get to know my newly found cousin over the last eighteen months. But the greatest thrill of all was to hear his "Hello Jeanette" (said with great gusto) on the DVD that he and Galen made in May last year and to hear some stories from his life. I regret that I wasn't able to meet Bob in person, but his great zest for life and sense of fun shone through in his message to his Australian cousins.

I want to extend my sympathy to the family for the loss of their dear father. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I was amazed with his poetry. May he rest in peace. I am sorry that I only got to know him for a little while but am grateful for being able to assist with his care.

You were fortunate to have your Dad for as long as you did and I'm sure you have many great memories as a result. You have our sympathy for your loss.

Dear Robert and Galen, My husband Bill & I send our sympathy to you both and your families.
