Not sure what to say?

I was a friend of Lila in Grammar school and high school. I remember when she married and was so joyous anticipating the marriage and moving to the southwest.

Dr. Green was such a good teacher and lecturer. Medicine is certainly going to miss him!

Offering my deepest condolences. May prayer provide comfort.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray constantly."

May God surround you with Infinite grace. Especially Sue and Mark, and all of the Green family, may you all find yourselves in "the green pastures and still waters" as you nestle amongst the greatness of Dr. Green's legacy. Sorry I missed you at Beth Israel.

I want to convey my condolences to the family of my truly precious friend, Dr. Robert Green. Dr. Green said so many wise things to me over the years and I will treasure them forever. I met him when I was a 21 year old young woman, and am 56 today. I typed pathology reports, and every single day, he came in and checked on his patient's pathology results. When you haven't seen someone is sometime, you tuck their joyous, crazy, intellectual, kind personality in the back of your mind. Then you hear they've passed away and a flood of wonderful memories arise. Bob was all of that amd more. I also knew Lila very well and they were joyously crazy together. He will be missed by all who knew him, by those who never knew him but reaped the benefit of his knowledge. May he rest in peace.

Dr Green was a role model for me in Pulmonary Medicine. His ability to read and dissect a Chest X rays and other imaging was unsurpassed. I am a medical teacher today and my ability to read and interpret chest X-rays and make appropriate medical decisions based on reading such X rays was modeled by him. He was a very compassionate and caring person who was committed to ethnic diversity in medicine. He loved his wife dearly and was committed to his family. He loved the arts. He will be sorely...

Dr Green I will miss you!!

I was deeply saddened to learn of Bob Green's passing. Dr. Green was on of the first contacts I made when I started employment at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center in 1961. I came to know him as a dedicated physician and advocate for his patients. Bob was "One of the good guys" and will be sorely missed.
