Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies to the Green family on the passing of Bob. He was a dynamic part of the staff at Jonas Salk Middle School when I taught with him during the 70's to 90's. He organized the annual gym shows and his main focus was always "the kids." We all were ready for his bus call announcements every day and how he kept everything organized in the PE department. I hope he and Fran had wonderful retirement years together. Fondly, Libby Stelevich--Home Ec teacher JSMS/ retired 2002

A one in a million kind hearted human being!! May he Rest in Peace. Sending prayers & condolences to the entire Green family.

the best of the best!!

Bob was a wonderful mentor and friend.
e was a model for all who knew him and loved him. I will always remember his guidance, concern, love and support. I don't think there was anyone finer than Bob! May you be comforted by wonderful memories, and he will always be with you in spirit. Sending you all love. His memory is a blessing!

Heaven is blessed with a true angel. I know it is difficult to have him missing from your life but may your memories keep him with you always. I am in Georgia and so I am sad to miss giving you this message in person but know I send love and prayers.

A kind and wonderful man, husband and father! Until we meet again!

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Green's passing. I am sending my condolences to the entire Green family. I had Mr. Green for Phys. Ed. at Salk School in 6th grade. I was also a part of his soccer team for my 7th and 8th grade years. He basically recruited me for soccer from PE class. We were playing and he asked me if I had tried out for the team. I told him that I didn't know how to play soccer and he turned to me with that big, infectious smile that he had and said, "I want you to try out...

I am sorry for your loss. My condolences to the entire Green family. Mr. Green was my 6th grade Phys. Ed. teacher at Salk School who then recruited me to play soccer in 7th and 8th grade. I remember playing soccer in PE class and he asked me if I tried out for the team. I told him that I didn't know how to play soccer and he turned around and said, "I want you to try out for the team next year!" with his big infectious smile that he had. So, I tried out and made the team in 7th and 8th...

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
