Not sure what to say?

He was my lunch buddy for many years. His great smile and loving nature will be my fondest memories. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. May you find comfort knowing he is spending eternity in paradise.

Bob was a great teacher, colleague and friend. He saw the best in others and always took time to listen and show he cared. Bob and Marty helped me and my family out in so many ways when I was just starting out at Godwin and he remained a mentor and friend throughout my career and into retirement. My wife and I have learned much from and had so many fun times with Bob and Marty throughout the years. Memories we will always cherish.

What a great guy and fellow colleague! He offered me some insightful ideas when I was given Developmental Reading to teach. I also appreciated the reading materials that he gave me. I still have some of the Condensed Readers' Digests books that he left for me to have. Bob was a great guy. He loved calling me "Volare". You will be missed. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. Hold tight to your memories. Cheryl Vilardi Donley

My deepest sympathy is with all the members of the family. Mr. G touched so many lives, helped many students, directing them to walk on the right path. Wish all family finds comfort in his memories, and knowing he will remain alive in the hearts of many! A captured memory-photo that resides in my office setting. Gods comfort and blessings on all.

Our deepest sympathies to you Marty, and your family, on your loss. Bob will be remembered so well for being a really solid, good man.

Our deepest condolences to Marty and family with such a great loss. Bob was a great guy who loved people and was fun to be around. We have some great memories of times with him and Marty. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Bob was a great family man. I know him through his children. I was one of their teachers at Bowen. Kate babysat for our children. The man he was is reflected in his wonderful children! Well done Bob! You will be missed!

I had Mr. G my Junior year for English. He had a positive attitude and a smile for everyone. MR. G found out that my Senior year, I was on my own and wasn't able to pay for my cap and gown. He paid for it. I was completely taken aback and filled with gratitude that he cared for his students so much that he'd help make it possible that I could walk with my class. I still have that cap and gown. Thank you for the encouragement, smile and positivity Mr. G. It won't be forgotten. My condolences...

My heart goes out to the family and their loss. Bob was always funny, had a story to tell, and enjoyed life as a whole. His family was always number one to him and than Football. I will miss playing Mexican Train with him and Marty. I will miss his big laugh and stories.
