I was Bob & bernies "hair girl" for the last 14 yrs.Last time I saw Bob I think we both knew I might not see him again.I did have a chance to say good-bye and tell him that "I loved him too."(but I didn't know until just today by looking here on line since I haven't seem them for a while ..I was wondering if he did indeed pass on) Bob was a wonderful person,smart,generous,good sense of humor and loved his family very much.I hope Bernie is okay.My sincerest sympathies to all..

I received a clipping from a friend and It took my breath away. Bob and Bernie were not only next door neighbors but truly dear friends.There is a void in my heart with Bobs passing. This message is for John..and of course Bernie...I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I was a neighbor to the Gridley's..and our boys were such special friends. I have such memories from 1959 and many years after. I have been thinking of all of you...Jeanne McKichan

Bob was such a good and kind man. I have so many good memories of time spent with him and Bernie over the years. My sympathy goes out to all of his family and friends as I know he will be greatly missed.
