Charles was my champion growing up like my brother. He was always ready to listen and help. We shared lots of good laughs and memories in his last few months. He handled his diagnosis like no other. He was happy to go and rejoin his family. He left as he lived, with dignity and wit and anxious to enter the next phase of life. I sure will miss talking to him and sharing secrets from our youth. He was a man like no other and a cherished figure in my life for over 35 years. He loved his family and treated others with a gentle and loving spirit. He could make you laugh even when he wasn't trying to and always had a great story to tell. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. He will be greatly missed here on earth, but I know he is rejoicing in Heaven with his beloved now.
