Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Dr Grill Jr.'s passing over 2 years ago. I just learned of it today. He was my dentist in Scotch Plains NJ as was his father Dr Grill Sr. since I was 3 years old. He was such a sweet and caring person. My condolences to his family.

It will be 2 years on Saturday since you have been gone. I think about you all the time and all that you taught me with your courage, strength and faith! You are truly missed for sure!

I am just coming across this online today. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked for Dr. Grill Sr and Jr when I was in high school at Scotch Plains Fanwood HS.(2002-2003) What great dentists and people! They both are the reason I am in the dental field today. Please take comfort in the fact that Dr. Grill had such a positive impact on so many lives. He will be missed.

Happy Anniversary, Bob.

Happy for you, because I know you're in a better place.

Happy for you, because I know you are no longer suffering in pain.

Happy for you, because you got to see your beloved Eagles FINALLY win the Super Bowl.

Happy for you, because the Phightin' Phils actually resemble a real baseball team again.

Happy for you, because we are all spiritual beings having a temporary human experience, not the other way around.

Happy for you...

I can't believe tomorrow it's been a year that you left. Sometimes, I just look up, smile, and say I know that was you. Missing your friendship and hoping you are at peace.

My sympathies to the Grill family... and I'm sorry for him that he didn't get more time. ... I grew up in Scotch Plains and knew Bob from the dentist office near the diagonal intersection of Westfield Road and North Avenue. I still have work that I walk around with every day that was done by Bob and Dr. Grill, Senior. My sister, Cathy, was a receptionist there. My brother, Chris, always told me that Bob Grill was a mentor to him and got him interested in becoming a dentist. Today he's got his...

Bob was my dentist, as was Dr. Grill Sr. In fact, my entire family were patients of Bob and his father from almost the time my own parents moved to Scotch Plains more than 50 years ago. As a youngster, with all due respect to Dr. Grill Sr., I was afraid to go to the dentist. Bob Jr. made it, dare I say, enjoyable. I can't believe i just wrote that but it's true. Bob and I shared a love affair with the Phillies, and he always made sure to set aside at least a few hours for my appointments so...

My condolences to Bob's family. I was his dental hygienist while he lived at Green Knoll. He was my patient, and I would always stop in and say hello each time I was there seeing other patients. What a great privilege it was getting to know him. We talked dentistry and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he told me how proud he was of who his children are. He also told me he was ok with wherever his situation would bring him. He accepted it with complete grace. I pray there is special place...
