Not sure what to say?

Bubba was one of the first drummers that I played with many years ago. Man could he cook on the pots and pans with the Saginaw Street Band at the Zilwaukee Bar.

Bob did all the drum work on a CD project I did 3 years ago. He was an outstanding studio musician and I loved working with him. He had a tremendous sense of humor, full of wit and always cutting up. During one of our our break times he told me how much he loved his sons and how committed he was to them. That really touched me. Your dad loved you deeply and was very proud of you. Always remember that.

I received a phone call from a member of the Lincoln Street Gang on 10/09/04 informing me of Bob's passing. I grew up with Bob when he lived on Sheridan Street in Bay City and was my best and only childhood friend. My father passed away when I turned 14 and Bob was one of two people who comforted me in my loss. It was he that introduced me to the Lincoln Street Gang and that introduction changed my life forever. My closet friends to this day are those he introduced me to. I always wanted to...

John and Debbie, Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your dear brother. He was one of the talented musicians I met back in the 70's when you played in a band with my then hubby and bass player, Rich "Purple" Hayes. You all practiced in our basement on Broadway & 33rd. Heaven's newest musical member will remain in the hearts of many here on earth.

Bob Grundner,
You were an amazing friend, a vibrant spirit, and a wonderful Dad, Brother, and Son. We will all miss you here, but we hold you in our hearts. I think its time to Rock and Roll in heaven. Love and Peace.

To the entire family of Bobby Grundners, I send my prayers. I have had the honor of being acquainted with Bobby, Margaret, John & Kathy for years. I remember fondly the band (Saginaw Valley Jazz band? ) playing at Pee Wee's lounge in Saginaw in the 70's. Your dad was always there & very proud.
God Bless you Bob & all those that hold you dear to their heart.

I have known Bob for many years, and will always remember the good times we all had as a group. I met Bob through Lynn Sorgenfrei and the gang from Lincoln street, in Bay City. We use to hang out at the "Barn" behind his Dad's house and play cards or just shooting the breeze.Let me tell you we had a few trash can parties there too. Bob was a remarkeable person whether he was playing the drums or just being with friends. Lynn and I married in 1977, Bob gave us an autographed album from one of...

I only know John and Debbie, but I have heard many good things about Bubba. Losing a loved one is a very hard thing to endure. My thoughts are with you, John.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Bob's entire family. I have had the privilege of knowing Bob for over 30 years. He was a major musical influence, a beloved friend, and a man whose passion for life and love of family and friends, will be with me always.
