Dick and Karen Hoffman are out of the country and are so distressed to hear of Bob's passing. We were fortunate to have Bob as our physician but even more fortunate to be able to call him our friend. Our love go to all of you.

Dr. and Mrs. Gruver came into my life as the loving parents of my dear friend, their daughter Karen. In the small world, Dr. Gruver had been the supportive doctor to my husband Michael and to his step-mother, Elaine Noss, years before. I am saddened by news of his passing. I send my grateful prayers for the many happy times we shared to his family.

Both my parents and I will deeply miss seeing Bob at our next Gruver/Cooley reunion; and, although unable to attend the funeral, we have always looked forward to visiting with Bob and his older brother, Cliff. As for me, our family's time spent at "the Lake" each summer at the gracious invitation of Dorie and Bessie, are without a doubt among the best memories I have while growing up.
Our deepest sympathy to the (our) family. Harry
