It is so hard when we lose the old time troopers a true piece of state police history goes with them. My dad was a classmate and a friend. Our family is sadden to hear of his passing. I was honored to attend his service and meet his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as the memory of our fathers. Sincerely Karen Buchert daughter of CSP Sgt. A great man and family. He made our neighborhood always feel protected and safe. Even as young kids, we could ride our horses and bikes around the lake, confident that we were safe. My condolences on your loss.
