Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. We both went to Grinnell, and Bob was kind enough to drive me home to Munster for school breaks. He was really a great guy. During those rides back to Indiana, Bob spoke glowingly about his times on the merchant ships. I´m glad he got to relive and expand on those experiences. Please accept my heart-felt condolences.

Just came across Bob´s obituary. We were roommates his Jr year at Grinnell. Great guy. Loved the talks we had about our respective days before we said goodnight.

I just saw Bob´s obituary, and I wanted to share my feelings and memories of Bob. We were classmates at Grinnell, and Bob was kind enough to give me a ride home to Munster multiple times. Bob was a great guy. He had keen mind and an excellent sense of humor. He would come over to our Nottingham house and Eric and I would hide him in the closet because we made him think my dad would be angry if he was over. (If you knew my Dad you would know that it was just a prank.) We were great childhood friends. Rest easy...

Please accept my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers will be with the Hale Family
