Not sure what to say?

Bob was the standard bearer for smart hard working Eastern Oregonians. Very inspirational

I'm just seeing this mostly because I was afraid to search for bad news. I'm sad to find it. My father and I spoke to Bob on the phone a few months ago. He was upbeat but cautious. You see, Bob and my father met in real estate school back in the 70s. From then on they were lifetime friends from Alabama to Oregon. We came out to hunt with Bob every few years and needless to say we had a fine time...each & every time. Back in the 90s Bob and friends came down to Alabama to hunt smaller game...

I had the wonderful privilege of knowing Bob personally. He had such a beautiful funny spirit. Always had a funny joke or quirk in his back pocket. I did not know him long, but I got to witness how much love he had for his wife, daughter, and grandchildren. He always gave me respect and kindness. I will cherish the small moments and I admire how much you loved your family, while remaining kind and generous. Always, Jenn R.

shiq'puchway...good day, our families met at Echo Highschool in 1969 and although we have not kept in close contact over the years, please know the Hale family is close to our hearts at this time. Bobby and my brother 'atway Curtis were especially close friends and when he passed it was so good to see his good friend come pay respect at our Longhouse at Mission.CTUIR. May these few words offer a little comfort as he makes his final journey. in peace and respect, Marian Sampson, wife of at'way...

Charee and I are grateful that Bob managed and leased our farm for over 30 years. It was a great blessing to work with him and his help and honesty was really appreciated. We also enjoyed our trip to Indonesia with him in 1973 through Lewis and Clark. We will miss him.

It was our pleasure to spend time with Bob and Kelly as they traveled in and out of Ketchum, ID. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kelly and the Redfern family.

Deepest condolences from Karla and I to Kelly and Bob´s entire family. At Lewis & Clark he was a teammate, roommate, groomsman at my wedding, and best friend.

Bob was a special kind of business person. I contracted onions cops with his companies and always left his office feeling good. Whether we made a deal or not. I will and have always missed that kind of business personality.

I worked with Bob in 1999 - 2000 designing and hired as the Head Chef for Cowboy Cafe. He always had great ideas. He inspired everyone around him. RIP
