I studied in England in the late 60's with Dr. Costigan where I first met Rob. Had lots of discussions with him over the months we were there over pints. History was one of my majors at the UW, and I took all the classes I could with Dr. Costigan, deepening the acquaintance I had with Rob. Later, after becoming an attorney, I'd see Rob, though rarely, at the Eastside Club. He was always a spirited and illuminating conversationalist, with a deep knowledge on so many diverse topics.

I´m sorry to hear of Rob´s passing. I did not know him well, but remember him as a bright, handsome, kind classmate.
