I flew with Bub at Atlas; what a pleasure. I recall being on the crew bus in Amsterdam when a bevy of KLM Flight Attendants boarded. I can see his smile now as he exclaimed to me,
Callipygous indeed! And then went back to reading his book.

I met Bub when I was stationed at Ft. Wainwright in 1965. We both shared a love of hunting and became close friends over the years. I was Bub's "gunner" in one of the Fout's piper cubs which Bub flew frequently. Don't recall how many wolves we killed back then but I know that I still have some pictures somewhere of some of those hunts. I met Tina shortly after they were married and still living here in Fairbanks. As I recall they lived somewhere in the Dale Rd. area where the Fouts also...

We got to know Bud many years ago, as our two sons grew up playing hockey together.
Although I never got to know Bud on a close personal level, his warmth and charm shined through. Our heart felt condolences to Tina, Shea, Patrick (Sparky), and to all who knew Bud.
