Not sure what to say?

I was thinking about Bobby today and sitting together on all the out of town baseball bus trips in 1963. We always talked about what we expected in the game we were going to. We always talked about what we were going to do with our girlfriends, Vicki and Lynne after games and practice. He was a good friend, funny but not obnoxious. I enjoyed his company. It wasn't the same the next year after he graduated and I was a senior. I know his family suffered the biggest loss. I knew him, was...

Vicki, I was thinking about Bob today. It's been a while since I talked to him. I just found out today. I am deeply sorry for your loss and very grateful I was able to spend the little time with him that I did. He was a true family man, and took every opportunity he had to speak about his beautiful wife, his wonderful children, and talented grandchildren. He will be missed.

Vicky & girls,

I just heard about Bob's death and hadn't even known he was sick. Bob and I grew up together and he was taken way too early. My sincerest sympathies go out to you, Julie, Bill and Pat as well. He was a great big brother, cousin, friend, father, grandfather and person.

Greatest cousin ever! Amazing and kind person . Had the best summers with him and Vicki. Will miss him always.

Vicki, my heart goes out to you and family for your loss. Bob was a wonderful person to know. He made his mark with me in high school. Our lives never crossed after we graduated. He lives with me today in my heart. I can still see him and hear him. I will never forget his smile and humor. I am glad to hear about how he lived his life. I am not surprised, that's Bob.

Always a friend

Dear Vicki and family~
As you know, Bob was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He always carried a "sparkle" in his eye and a readiness for fun. His memory honors the delightful, good guy that he was to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and calling him friend.
My thoughts and love are with you, Vicki.
