HAMMERS
Robert Dale "Bob" Hammers, age 78, of Lewisville, Texas and former resident of Star Junction, PA, Ossining, NY, and San Antonio, TX, passed away Tuesday morning, November 12, 2013 at his home. Bob was born, April 14, 1935 in Star Junction, PA to Robert and Viola Hammers.
He met and married the love of his life, Regina Grona in Las Vegas on May 30, 1975. He attended Saint Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville. He was involved in Cub Scouts, coached Little League, and CYO Basketball in Ossining and active with St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ossining as well. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Lowery and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Regina Grona Hammers of Lewisville, TX; son, Robert Dale Hammers, II and his wife, Holland Abercrombie Hammers of Lewisville, TX; grandson, Robbie Hammers and niece, Nancy Griger and her husband, Bob of Acme, PA and their daughter Amanda Borrelli of Pittsburgh, PA as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation/Viewing will be, Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 5:00PM to 6:30PM. Funeral service will follow at 6:30PM in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, Lewisville, Texas.

Burial will be Friday, November 15, 2013 at 3:00PM in Holy Cross Cemetery, San Antonio,
Texas.
