Robert Carl Hansen

I have known Bob and his family since high school. We had a common interest in sailing and he and his family facilitated my getting involved in sailing in the Chicago area. Bob and I went to North Central College together. I had my first "date" with my future wife when Bob and I took her sailing on the Linda Lou. Even though we separated geographically, we have remained good friends ever since. I had talked to Bob on the telephone only a couple of weeks before his death when he called...

Bob was a kind and pleasant person with a depth of knowledge always willing to share to those who would listen. I'm glad I had a chance to speak to him recently. My condolences to his family.
