Not sure what to say?

I am a grateful person. I am grateful for family, friends, good health, and the ability to work. I am grateful to have had Uncle Bob as such a hugh influence in my life. He was so kind and good to his nieces and nephew. It was like having another father. I love and miss you so much Uncle Bob.

The members of the D.C. Blue Hunting & Conservation Club were very saddened to learn of Bob's passing.

Bob was an avid hunter and a loyal friend to all of his fellow club members. He will always be remembered and will be greatly missed. We would have loved to have attended Bob's funeral service, but the weather did not allow us to.

May fond memories comfort the entire Harden Family.

Sincerely,
Don Allred - Sec./Treas.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Harden. Growing up, he was like one of our family. He and my father shared many a day fishing up at Buggs Island, camping at Ivy Hill. I regret that over the years I lost touch with him. He was such a nice person. As a child I would get a kick out of riding down the highway and my dad pulling over to stop and chat when he was working for the DOT. And I thought it was so neat to know someone with such a gentle, kind disposition was also a Golden...

It was a honor taking care of you through your last couple of years. I would not have traded any of the times I spent with you. I love you so much and miss you tremendously. Who do I call now every night to make sure they are OK? I don't know. I feel lost. I love you!

Your devoted great niece

It's hard to express how much we will miss Bob. Although he was our neighbor for the past 15 years, he was so much more than that. He was family! Our boys had alot of fun with him. Although Bob is in a better place, things won't be the same around here without him.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7)

Love, Barry, Julie, Joel & Noah

I am privileged to call myself your niece. You will always be loved and missed. Rest in peace, Uncle Bob.

All my love, Kelly

Bob and I had many good times fishing. We would start the last of April, go to Currituck, fish a week and then go to Buggs Island and finish spring fishing. I had to finally throw away my old yard lounge chair that I had in the camper because he wore it out when we would come in for lunch and he would take a two hour snooze before we went back out to fish. I look back and time take its toll on all of us. I wouldn't take anything for the time we spent together. Bill Aydt
