Robert Pickens "Bob" Harrington

We became friends of Bob when living part time near Bayfield. My husband, George went regularly to the shooting range with him and their buddies. And we also did occasional hunting trips in other States. Bob was a thoughtful, kind person, and helpful to George. As I now ask George to give his impressions about Bob, he replies, "great sense of humor, adept at understanding other people, and considerate in hunting and shooting with others." Mr. Harrington was my professor at FLC in 1996-97. He was a great instructor. I saw him and his partner a year or so ago at the Kennebec Cafe and mentioned that I really enjoyed his classes, I'm glad I got to give him that praise. He deserved it.

Bob was absolutely one of the nicest people in Durango, caring about everyone, especially his family, and doing what he could do to make others' lives better. He was smart, a deep thinker, and had a great sense of humor. I will miss Bob.

I loved Bob and Penny, very kind and loving and always happy . They enjoyed life to the fullest. Now they are together again
