Bob was my uncle, and brother of my dad, W.T. Harris. I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. I live in Texas now and rarely get to Charlotte but did have lunch with he and Aunt Mary Lee a few years back. He was as chipper and fun as always. I really enjoyed seeing him. For any of the family interested in the Harris genealogy. Bob's father was Jarvis Barney Harris and mother was Mary Estelle Owens-Harris. They met at a house party in south Georgia around Cordele GA. They owned a farm from land given to them by Mary's parents. The children were born and raised on the farm. Bob was my Great Uncle. The youngest boy of 11 brothers and sisters. My grandfather, W.T. Harris was the oldest boy and Bob his brother. Bob was always up to something and making us laugh at the Harris family reunions. His mother had a great sense of humor which she had passed to many of her children. I was so sorry to read of Bob's passing. When I first started in Real Estate Bob was my "go to" painter. He was good, reasonable and fun. Bob always had a smile and a hug for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

To all the members of Bob's family we extend our most profound sympathy. All our family held him in the greatest affection and respect. We had such fun when he visited us in Newport Beach, CA with my sister, Melba, and at our home in Winston-Salem.
