Not sure what to say?

Bob taught me many important life skills, I wish that I had gotten to know him better when I knew him. Rest in peace Mr.Harrison

If you are reading this guest book, your life was blessed by knowing this man. If I were ever to write a story about my life, at least 3 chapters would be about how Bob impacted it for the better. I stood straighter and always walked with a pep in my step. I want to be like Bob. He will live in my heart forever. I "owe" Bob alot, he would say, you don't owe me a thing. Godspeed my dear friend, thank you

Good morning Rick, would you like to fly w ith me to Arizona for a few days of dove hunting"

We are very sad, but have so many wonderful memories both in Maui and Eugene. We send our great sympathy and aloha,

Our condolences , prayers & good memories.

To Dixie and all the Family I want to extend my deepest sympathy in the passing of Bob. I met Bob when I was hired at Diamond Wood Products in 1981 and have know Bob since. I had the opportunity to be involved with Bob on many occasions, business and pleasure, mainly our hunting trips for ducks and quail in Eastern Oregon. I started working at Willamette Valley Company in 1969. Bob was a wonderful person to work for. He used to stop by my office just to chat and catch up with what I was doing family wise and if everything was going okay, both personal and with work. What a great person and will be missed so much by all who knew him. My heart aches for Dixie, John, Cathy, Bill, Jim and Tom.

How did you spend your 20th birthday? This was the partial entry in Robert Harrison's flight logbook on his 20th: "July 18, 1945..strike made against battleship NAGATO at Yokosuka Naval Base, Tokyo, Japan. Was my (20th) birthday and received the best present ever-a direct hit with our 1000 lb. bomb. Five hits were made by Torpedo Squadron 88. Anti-aircraft was very heavy. Lt. La Pierre caught 40mm shell in port wing. Second of our division to be hit over Japanese homeland. Lost many planes on...

Dear Dixie,
I wish I could be with you and your family on September 14 to celebrate Bob's life. Much love,
