Not sure what to say?

Hartman family,

I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He and I were Battalion mates our first two years at the Academy and also classmates at Submarine School following graduation. Bob served his country faithfully while on active duty and more so afterward from the civilian sector.

He will be missed by all his classmates, but he will never be forgotten.

Peg,you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

God Bless,

Walt '62

On behalf of the US Naval Academy Class of 1962, please except our heartfelt condolences at your tragic loss. Bob was a valued Classmate and a patriot who served his Nation selflessly. Please know that he is in our prayers.

His many friends in the Class will miss him.

We enjoyed Bob during our stay at Annapolis and many were friends over the years. He will be greatly missed.

I shared many activities with him at the Academy. I enjoyed working with Bob over the past 20-30 years in the Tidewater area. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am a long distant friend of Bob's at the Pascagola, MS shipyard. We never met, but talked often enough to be good friends. Because of our age, I am 68, Bob and I had a lot in common including our appreciation of family. Bob will be sincerely missed. He was a great shipbuilder. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Sending my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to Bob's family. Bob will be greatly missed in the Supply Chain Procurement Department at NGSB-NN.

I first worked with Bob in the Sourcing department but have moved on to Cost Engineering. Bob was the "go-to" guy for a lot of things because of the wealth of knowledge he held. He and his contributions will be missed and it is doubtful that anybody can fill his shoes! The Ship Repair estimating team expresses deep condolences to the family.

We at Collins Machine Works were shocked and saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. In all our dealings he was always honest and straight forward. Bob earned the respect of every Collins Machine Works’ employee who dealt with him.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. May you find comfort in your memories of a life well lived.
