Not sure what to say?

Rob man, I never got to tell you how proud of you I am. When you came back to Fresno for the last time, you told me about the things you went through overseas and I freaked. You were my big lil brother and hearing about it all and seeing your scars, I got mad about you putting yourself in such danger with so little worry about the consequences. But thats what separates a soldier from a civilian, the willingness to face danger when all others flee from it. And even though many years have...

It has been said if one is spoken of or thought of they never really die, I think of Robbie often and he continues to live on earth. I trust he has found peace.

I have no way of knowing how you feel. My words can not lesson your pain As a mother of two active sons (NAVY ARMY). I send my love and prayers. I hope you are able to rejoice in your sons life

I went to high school with Robert..and even tho that time in life is short you will always hold the memories of friends that walked long side of you. Robert had a sweet soul and is going to be missed by many..

To the Hartwell Family,
As a Chief Petty Officer (Active) and a son who is also a Navy Sailor, I send my and my family's condolences to you. I would like to say thank you for not only encouraging your son, but allowing him to serve his country. Know that your Navy family is sharing your grief and loss.

There are no words to ease your pain, but I am praying the memories of your son fill your heart with peace. I thank your son and your family for such dedication to our country, for you are the true heros of the world. God bless you.

My heart goes out to your and your family.I know how your loss feels. I am proud of Robert serving our country and you and your family will be in my prayers. God Bless.

For some moments in life there are just no words,
However, I can be here to lift you up
To brighten your days.
My arms will gladly hold you
And wipe your tears away.
For I to know the pain of loss
so I will give you my hand and we will walk this journey together.
