When I worked for Richard Miller Motorcycles,I spent many lunch hours out in Bob’s R&D shop.I asked him one time if he could make something that I needed for the motorcycle shop. His comment was “I can make anything, but, the impossible takes me longer”.That was Bob in a nutshell !!

Bertie - Jim was just surfing the net and came up with this page. I had no idea that you had lost Bob. I know you will miss him terribly. We will never forget out trip to see you in Bloomington and how much Jim enjoyed his tour of Bob's "bus" shop. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

He saw me sitting in my Model A hot rod in front of the high school and invited me to his house to see Jack Beal's hot rod. Our interests kept us hanging out. I went to the Indy car races in 1950 with Bob, his Dad and another friend. I still have pictures from our trip. Bob inspired me to get into car racing. I'm glad I was at the 55th EHS reunion and was able to see you and Bob. Bob and I had...
