Not sure what to say?

My oh my, Capri! Time is truly fleeting away before our very eyes. And, it seems like you are still here with us. Memories of you are everlasting. Rest in heavenly peace. Mary Jefferson

I just learned of Capri's transition. He is my friend forever. He once wrote in one of his books of poetry for me"To Elijah Lee, who's course is set". One of my favorite poems, entitled "Do It"; he writes "If you got a job to do, Do It! Don't be no Wait-er; don't sit around- talking about I'm gonna do it Late-er. Do It!". I love you "Brother Mann".

I met Capri when Robin was very little. We sent many hours laughing, talking and learning. Capri was fabulous and talk me to be a critical thinker. I counted him a trusted friend. His life is reflected in his amazing daughter's life. Rest in Heaven Capri.

Well Done! A Good and Faithful Father and Friend. Love, Always and Forever.

I knew Capri mainly from the Java House.I ran into him over the past year and had lunch with him. He once came to my class at Waller-Williams and read poetry to the kids. I'm shocked to see him gone. I would like to meet othe Java House patrons who knew him. Raphael "Ray" Schweri

hi robin this is lillie, i am so sorry for your lost. i know what it like to lose a father and my heart go's out to you if you need me any time day or night call me. i will help you through it.

Capri was compassionate about his children, poetry and opinion. I never thought of the idea that he could be called, "the peoples" poet but in hindsight, he was.

No pretense, no fanfare just his beautiful words and smooth baritone voice to share them. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to his beloved Robin who helped to guide his world in life and fatherly love. Life is but a brief moment and somehow whispers to us in unexpected ways when our time on Earth is done. Capri,...

You have my deepest sympathy on your immeasurable loss. Life is so short and those we love are gone from our lives too quickly. God's promise to empty the grave in the near future is found at Hosea 13:14. May the God of loyal love comfort you during your time of sorrow.
