Not sure what to say?

I have no idea if we are related or not. But, I am also a Hawkinson where my original roots are from Kansas City, MO. My family donated land where Trinity Lutheran Hospital is built. To my understanding their land is where Hallmark was, then the Crowne Plaza, and lastly the Marriot is now. Along with a waterfall flowing on the inside where my Dad use to fish. I came across your website and I felt compelled to sign. My first car was a Ford, and I had to get it because my Dad said it was a...

Bob, Sara, and the entire Hawkinson Family,

There aren't enough words to express the loss of Bob Sr. He was the oldest of the many grandchildren Nels had. (Nels had lots of names Nels, N.A., Hawkin, and (of course) Hawk.) I'm one of the "younger" of Nels' grandchildren. However, it was through Uncle Herb (Roy's older brother) that I initially came in contact with your dad. We spoke many times on the telephone over the years. It was always great to talk with him. He and Marion...

My Dad, Paul Guetter, Sr. was Parts Mgr for Hawkinson Ford. My Dad had greatest respect for Mr Hawkinson. Hawk was honest at golf and honest as a business man. Dad cherished his career working for the Hawk. I miss them both.

To all the Hawkinsons and spouses; I regret being out of town from October 5th until the 16th or I would have been at the services. Bob was a true friend and I appreciate his help when needed. Bob Dixon

I wish to extend to the Hawkinson family, my deepest sympathy on Mr.Hawkinson' passing. I had the pleasure of selling him shoes for quite a few years. First at Cozy Bootery in Oaklawn, and most recently at Golden Shoes. I always enjoyed seeing him and talking with him. He was quite a man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hawkinson family at this time of great sorrow and loss of your loved one. While I only met Robert Sr several times, I heard many wonderful and loving stories about how he touched the lives of his family and friends. God bless you all.

Bob was one of my brothers friends back to high school days when he lived in the next block and also spent time at our parents cottage in Michigan.

Later I trusted him and as a newly single lady need a new car and you can bet who I turned so I would not have to "shop".

Bob was a fine friend who we spoke of often

Dear Sally and family,
Our deepest sympathy on the death of your father/grandfather. May he rest in God's peace and in your love. You're in our thoughs and prayers.
I hope your children are doing well. You have such a wonderful family. Take care.

On behalf of the Furlong Family, we extend our condolences to all of the Hawkinson Family.
We have gotten to know many of you as customers of HF over the years, as all the adults in our family at some point owned a Hawk Ford! Also, we are personal friends of Bob and Sara, and having lost both our fathers in last year, we empathize with the process taking place.

Our prayers are with you all.

Bill, Peggy and the Furlong Family
