Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with the family as we have lost a good one for sure. I recently retired as a football official after 42 years and had the pleasure of doing many games at Stratford and Wando, varsity and JV. As a coach and person he was always professional in his manner and was a gentleman in every regard. You knew if he disagreed with your final call but he never raised his voice or lose control as others have. He set a great example to the young men and women who were...

Our family is sorry for the loss of your family member but another Angel in Heaven. I know how hard he worked for Wando, the district and the SCHSL. Many many times I did not understand decisions he made and communicated that to him many times. But he was always respectful and I would always say that I don't understand why he makes the decisions that he does but he must have a good reason. And I promise that I do not have any of his Gaderaide coolers. I used to always tell him that when I saw...

Heartbreaking news to hear of Bob's passing while we were having a family vacation on Tybee Island Georgia. Having shared so many years with Bob at Stratford High School it is a great loss for us and difficult to accept.. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

We are so sad to hear of the loss of Coach Hayes. He was such a great coach, mentor, leader in the community, and friend to our children. We are forever grateful to Coach Hayes and his family for his guidance, being a positive role model, and the support he gave all of his students and athletes at Wando. Thanks for the invaluable life lessons and the impact you had on our kids. The Wando family is truly grateful for your efforts and Warrior Spirit.

Our thoughts are with you. We are thankful for all the wonderful things Coach Hayes did for our boys Kirby and Brandon at Wando. He has always been a friend to us as well.

My thoughts are with you.

Coach Hayes, You'll always be remembered as Wando High #1 Golden Warrior. I will never forget you.

I loved coach Hayes! I'm so sorry for your loss! As a player he coached he saw things in me no other coach did! Very respectable and wise! We are all going to miss him!
