The Haygoods were special friends of the Sanders family in Columbus. So many fond memories and good times. Bob always had a smile and a good story to share.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I have so many memories of Bob and some are so funny, but I was thinking today of how, after Hurricane Katrina, he had electricity and our house across the street did not- for a whole week. No electricity. Bob let us run a 3 prong heavy duty extension cord across the street for the week to keep the refrigerator, some fans at night and occasionally the tv on so we could know what was going on. I have so many memories of him flooding back to me now. They make me smile-with tears. God bless.
