I still remember Bob jumping up and down keeping everyone interested in learning the Biomedical Field..... He asked me to continue some of his projects and as promised, the work continues. RIP

Mr. Heacock was the "father" of Biomed in the Alabama region, he will be missed. His passion for teaching and the Biomed profession is what I will remember about him.
Condolences to the family, God Bless.

Mr. Heacock was gifted in so many ways. His passion for teaching was evident. I consider myself to be fortunate to have been one of his students. I graduated in 1991 from his biomed program. He will be missed by one and all.

With vision, a solid work eithic, and excellent teaching Bob introduced the region to the Biomedical Equipment Technician...and the rest is history.

I'll never forget the first day of BMET class. Bob - " That's Bob with one ( o ) ", as he would say, took a metal bladed screw-driver out, squeezed his index/thumb around this conductor and showed all of us that what he was going to teach us that year....He inserted this tool into the neutral leg opening of the nearby electrical receptacle - everybody in his class - even the those with electrical experience were extremely amazed at his confidence. He assured all of us that we would be that confident by the end of his classes. Bob was a great Teacher....THANKS...! Jim Cowart Alford, Fl

What a pleasure it was knowing Bob for 20 years at Lakeshore. He always had spunk and spoke his mind. I'll never forget the magic he did with some round object to fix color on our TV. Pure genius. Will surely miss him!
